Ted Wirecki

Dr. Wirecki is a recognized psychiatrist with more than 20 years experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. He has had a long standing interest in rTMS and received advanced TMS training in Canada. He was trained at Columbia University, Emory School of Medicine, and University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Clinical TMS Society, and serves on the Board of Jewish Family Service in Colorado, on the clinical faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and is the president of the Colorado Psychiatric Foundation. He was the corporate medical director for behavioral health for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield responsible for quality management. He is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Randall Buzan

Dr. Buzan brings more than 20 years of experience as a psychiatrist to the TMS Center of Colorado. He was trained at the University of Michigan School of Medicine, University of Colorado, Duke University and the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis. He is an associate clinical professor for the University of Colorado Department of Psychiatry. He also serves as a psychiatric consultant for Craig Hospital and for Learning Services, a residential treatment facility for people with brain injuries. In addition to his teaching and consulting duties, he continues to run his own private practice, focusing on treating patients with a combination of psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. Dr. Buzan is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Richardson has practiced psychiatry in the Denver area for 30 years, having trained at the Butler University, the University of Illinois, and the University of Colorado. She helped establish the original Anxiety and Mood Disorders Clinic at the University of Colorado Psychiatry Department after completing her psychiatric residency there and started the Geriatric Psychiatry service. After 5 years on the faculty, she realized her first love was direct patient care, so she left the full-time faculty to pursue her own private practice. She brings extensive experience treating adults of all ages with mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma, in inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Richardson is excited to bring this promising treatment to TMS Center of Colorado. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with added Qualifications in Geriatric Psychiatry.

Neil Weiner

Dr. Neil Weiner brings 30 years of experience as a psychiatrist to the TMS Center of Colorado. He specializes in treating depression and anxiety disorders. Dr. Weiner trained at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has extensive experience in private practice and is a senior clinical faculty member at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in both the Department of Psychiatry and in the Department of Family Medicine. He is board-certified in psychiatry and uses a variety of approaches treat patients including transcranial magnetic stimulation, psychotherapy and holistic approaches.

John Menninger

Dr. Menninger brings 30 years of experience as a psychiatrist to the TMS Center of Colorado. He attended Cornell University Medical College, followed by internship and residency in psychiatry at University of Colorado. He spent ten years doing inpatient psychiatry, followed by twenty years providing community mental health with a focus on care to nursing homes. He is a senior instructor for the University of Colorado Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Menninger is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Neza Bharucha

Dr. Bharucha obtained her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She took a gap year in medical school and worked as a medical researcher for the Dr. Oz show. During that time, she learned about holistic treatment. She completed her psychiatry training at University of Colorado. She was the Chief Resident of Outpatient Mental Health Services at the Veterans Affairs hospital where she first started referring patients for TMS. She also specialized and trained in the bipolar clinic for two years. In addition to that, she also completed a post-partum elective focusing on Women’s Mental Health. She is currently a clinical instructor at University of Colorado School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and works as a psychiatric consultant in the Emergency Department along with having her own private practice that treats a variety of mental health conditions in adult and adolescent patients. She is excited to be able to offer patients who have struggled with medication resistant depression or other mental illnesses a new promising treatment of TMS.

Emily Sheldon

Dr. Sheldon is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing in Denver, CO for over 10 years.  She completed her medical training at Medical College of Georgia and a general adult psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado in Denver.  After completing residency training, Dr. Sheldon worked in community mental health for Denver County for over a decade treating a wide range of people, but ultimately found a passion for helping women with their mental health needs through the many chapters of their lives including the peripartum period.  Since then, Dr. Sheldon has completed many hours of continuing medical education focused on women’s mental health including becoming certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.  Recently she has also developed an interest in learning more about non-pharmacologic approaches to mental health treatment and ways to expand options for the people.  This led her to seek training through the Clinical TMS society.  She is excited to now be able to offer TMS services through the TMS Center of Colorado.

Kate started at the TMS Center of Colorado as an administrative assistant. In her tenure here, Kate has worked her way up to management and then eventually accepted the position of chief operating officer. Kate has always had a passion for business and working in the mental health community. In her free time, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and golden-doodle.

Ameryst earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2020 from Texas Christian University. She is now pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling from Regis University. She looks forward to continuing patient care and bringing her skills of working with diverse populations to the TMS Center of Colorado team.
