Depression and Sleep

Depression and SleepAt TMS Center of Colorado, we are committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advances in the treatment of depression and related conditions. We’re especially interested in the latest research on the link between insomnia and depression, which shows that a small amount of cognitive behavioral therapy to treat insomnia combined with treatment for depression can make a significant difference in treating both insomnia and depression.

The research indicates this highly effective therapy can help patients make behavioral changes in their sleep routines such as establishing a regular wake-up time, eliminating daytime napping, and avoiding reading and watching TV in bed.

TMS Center of Colorado has technicians trained in cognitive behavioral therapy who can guide patients in combining insomnia and other therapies with TMS therapy, so please contact us if you’re interested in any of these new approaches.
