TMS Center of Colorado, LLC
The TMS Center of Colorado was formed by two local healthcare providers. Their strong belief in patient centered, quality driven care establishes the back drop for the services offered at the Center. The Center’s focus is state of the art, outpatient treatment of Major Depressive Disorders through the use of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS or TMS). TMS is the only non-systemic and non-invasive treatment for such disorders. The TMS Center of Colorado is the first facility in Colorado to have the NeuroStar TMS Therapy system available to treat resistive depression.
Ted Wirecki, MD, Medical Director and CEO
Dr. Wirecki is a recognized psychiatrist with more than 20 years experience in the treatment of psychiatric disorders. He has had a long standing interest in rTMS and received advanced TMS training in Canada. He was trained at Columbia University, Emory School of Medicine, and University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is on the Board of Jewish Family Service in Colorado, on the clinical faculty of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and is the president of the Colorado Psychiatric Foundation. He was the corporate medical director for behavioral health for Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield responsible for quality management. He is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. |
Andrew Levy, President and COO:
A founding partner, Andy has over 30 years of healthcare experience both as an executive and a physical therapist. Prior to forming TMS Center of Colorado, Andy developed and managed a network of outpatient rehabilitation facilities and provider networks. Most recently Andy has provided consulting services to a variety of healthcare ventures as well as participating as a surveyor and examiner for national healthcare accrediting bodies. Throughout his career the focus on patient care and quality of service has been paramount in all of the healthcare companies Andy has been involved. Andy holds a BA degree in biology from Colorado College, a BS degree in physical therapy from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. |
Mary Flack, LPC, Certified rTMS Technician, Administrator:
Mary is a Licensed Professional Counseling and has been practicing therapy with depressed clients for over seven years. She has a part time private practice. She and her husband have five children and love to spend time together as a family. She loves to read and become more educated about issues that affect people, ways of helping people live more full and enjoyable lives. She looks forward to doing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Talk Therapy with our TMS patients. |
